Editing

In addition to writing, I also work as an editor, proofreader, and fact-checker for major global corporations, investment firms, consultancies, and nonprofits across a wide range of business sectors (tech, healthcare, government, publishing, finance, etc.).

For more than a decade, I freelanced as a closed-captioning, subtitling, and post-production scripting editor for various video service companies in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Washington, D.C. I’ve edited or reformatted captions and subtitles for thousands of movies, TV shows, Blu-rays, and online educational videos, in addition to preparing production dialogue and spotting lists, CDSLs, CCSLs, and audio/visual description for blind or low-vision audiences. Clients have included: Netflix, Amazon, Google, PBS, CNN, the BBC, Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox, Sony, Bravo, History Channel, The State Department, and The National Science Foundation.
